Preschool
3 years - 5 years
Preschool Ministries provides 3, 4, and 5-year-old children opportunities to grow in their relationships with Jesus and one another. The Bible comes alive for Pre-K disciples at Liberty Bible Church through illustrated Bible books, dramatic retellings, puppet shows, songs, flannel boards, crafts, fine motor and gross motor activities.
Will your child be joining the Pre-K Classroom soon? We would love to arrange a time for you and your child to have a personal tour of the classroom, child-size restroom, and fully-fenced playground.

Check-In & Check-Out
If it is your child’s first time Sunday, we encourage you to arrive a few minutes early to check in your child. During check-in, you will receive a security tag with a unique code matching your child’s name tag. You will use this security tag for pick-up. You can confidently enjoy the service knowing your child will be loved and cared for by our trained and background-checked volunteers. If, for some reason your child needs you during service, this number on your security tag will also be displayed on the small screen to the left side of the sanctuary stage.
Fearfully & Wonderfully Made
At Liberty Bible Church we firmly hold that every child is a blessed gift from God & created in God’s image. We believe that all children can learn when provided with the right tools and support. Accommodations, such as sensory tools and additional volunteers, can be made available with advance notice.
Questions we’re often asked
-
Children promote from the nursery into the Pre-K class upon their 3rd birthday. Later, they promote into the Elementary Age class with Pastor Breanna the summer before starting kindergarten. Promotion day is the first Sunday in July.
-
The Pre-School classes are found on the main floor at the end of the hallway. When you enter the main entrance of the building, turn left and follow the hallway past the nursery. Upon arriving at the Welcome Desk there will be a member of the Pre-K Team to help your child get settled and answer any questions parents and guardians may have. Should you choose to take your child to the main service you can request an activity bag at the Welcome Desk to help your little one be successful in the service.
-
Pre-School age Bible classes take place on Sunday mornings at 9 & 11. Pre-School kids are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of events including Wednesday Night classes, VBS, and seasonal activities for Early Childhood families. Please watch the church calendar to see if the Pre-K class is an option for specific evening events.
-
Snacks are often served when Pre-School kids come to church. If your child has special dietary needs, please notify the teaching team. You are welcome to send a labeled snack for your child. Common healthy items kids may enjoy on a Sunday morning include crackers, cheese sticks, bananas, or fruit snacks. Cookies and ice-cream have been known to appear at special celebrations.

The Pre-K classroom has a restroom with a child-size toilet and sink. However, we do not have diaper changing facilities in this area. If your child is not yet potty trained, you will be notified right away of a diapering situation. A changing station can be found in the family bathroom next to the nursery. Our teachers are good about reminding our friends to use the facilities, but toileting accidents can happen; know that we keep new underwear and extra clothes available for those uh-oh moments!

While we hope to see your children every time the church doors are open, to keep our children and teachers healthy, we ask that you join us for services online from home when running a fever. Please wait a full 24 hours after the last bout of diarrhea or vomiting before attending church in person. Should your child begin to show symptoms of illness while at church we will notify you right away. In the rare event that a child comes to church with a communicable childhood disease (such as Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease for example) you will receive an email from the church so you can watch for symptoms. Please know that all the surfaces and toys are sanitized each week and children and teachers maintain good handwashing practices while in our care.
