Pastor James is the Executive pastor for Liberty Bible Church. He grew up primarily in SE Alaska and attended Northwest Nazarene University, graduating in 1990. His first ministry assignment was in Richland, WA as the youth/music pastor. He came to Liberty Bible Church in March 2002.

James married an amazing young lady in 1991 who has been both a partner and an inspiration for him. Merredith is a labor and delivery nurse at PeaceHealth Medical Center. They have two kids, AJ and Emma, a daughter-in-law, Bella, and a grandson.

Besides his family and his church James enjoys coaching baseball, refereeing basketball, and chasing his grandson. Spending time with his family and doing all kinds of things with them is his favorite thing to do.

If you ask him, James will tell you that moving to Liberty Bible Church was one of the biggest blessings of his life. The family atmosphere, the desire to know God, the genuine love and concern for people and a willingness to try just about anything makes LBC a very special place. “People’s lives are saved and changed here.”

Pastor James’ number one desire for his church family is that they would expend themselves in worshiping God through music. Let’s just say it’s his passion!
